Raneth Pich is a Cambodian-born artist. Her work usually focuses on representation paintings such as portraitures and still life. Being a Cambodian diaspora, she is now exploring abstract painting by embracing her Cambodian cultural motifs, the spiral motifs carving on Cambodian ancient temples, into Western flat abstraction. This combination creates a hybrid of art forms – within the space between western art and southeast Asian art. The spiral motifs or coil motifs has been long used and still using commonly and mostly in Asian countries. Its symbolic meaning relates to the creation of life - new life, growth, strength and peace.

Raneth's abstract paintings of spiral forms were intended to evoke the spiritual energy which she believes it is a part of Cambodian sacred architectural buildings, her ancestors, and the spirit of her culture. Raneth has produced a number portraitures for private collectors. She has been participating in Fisher's Ghost Art Awards twice at Campbelltown Art Centre, finalist (2019) and Winner (2022) in Traditional category.
