Natalie Ayoub is a Lebanese Australian artist, born and raised in Sydney. Her practice is fuelled by the investigation of the body as a portal for experiences, emotions and connection. Predominantly working with clay, she uses an intuitive approach to create biomorphic sculptures, using a repetitive pinching technique on the surface of her work to activate the objects. Ayoub’s practice is deeply rooted in the exploration of mysticism, as she seeks to reveal what lies beneath the surface of our everyday lives.
