Gregory makes provisional propositions that draw from bodily knowledge. His practice is sustained by preparatory work scavenging for materials. He chooses objects that have functional uses, deliberate design features and is attentive to distinct colour palettes. Utilising his sky blue collar, he is equipped with tools and a gung ho attitude. The propositions are temporary, often only existing in documentation. In viewing mass culture as a medium for extracting material, he takes part in the pleasure of middle and upper class excess.
