Jaime Krausmann is a Sydney/Eora-based artist and recent BFA graduate specialising in painting. His practice approaches oil painting through a pluralistic lens focusing on poetic explorations of the human form, something he views not dissimilar to the delicate balance between entropy and negation. Krausmann aims to pursue this dynamic interplay, challenging the intricate balance between representation and abstraction by allowing these idiosyncrasies' decisions throughout the creative process.

Themes of existential contemplation and transformation characterise Krausmann's neo-figurative style. Drawing inspiration from literature, he seeks out dialectical compositions that allow the underpinnings of poetics and philosophy to prompt internal exploration.
