Within my Print practice I experiment with the collagraph technique to explore ideas of overpopulation and the building of smaller and smaller houses in extraordinarily dense and boring suburbs. I am inspired by my surroundings that have changed from that of open fields and larger suburban blocks to something that only reflects the interest of property developers' pockets. I used subjects such as trains and gridlocked roads to represent the packed-in and undercooked nature of the networks and facilities built and designed 30 years ago that are now forced to support a growing population.
