Guinevere Isla is a Blue Mountains based artist who works with a range of mediums. She is currently working in printmaking and drawing to explore the themes of nostalgia and grief. Her practise examines the notions of memory and loss through her inquiry into the sentimentality that certain objects hold. Interested in the relationship between the body and clothing, Guinevere explores how identity and memories can be revealed through the tactile and visual qualities of clothing, through the inherently illustrative feel of etching to further communicate and depict the human experience of grief and remembrance.
