Cooking and printmaking have much in common. Family recipe books have inspired my practice, which includes gestural drawings, prints and collages. I hope to honour the skill and care taken in writing, collecting and cooking the recipes and connect to the collective memory and collaborative skill and labour of women. My aim is to capture their intimate, fragile and personal qualities, keeping this cultural knowledge alive.
