Fergus Ward (practising as William Gaulton) is a printmaker focusing on the Mezzotint printmaking technique. The work is a reflection of lethargic mechanisation within the workspace. The prints explore a fascination of unintentional automation within the body in domestic and work environments. His figures are brought forth from a dark brooding surface to explore the resonance between the self and our environments.
