Chantelle Monique Bubic is a Sydney born and based artist. Intrigued by the human anatomy, her fluidity of distortions and organic shapes, offer an expression of the complex relationship between the mind and body. Exploring ways in which to demonstrate human psyche, through the use of colour, shape, line, texture, materiality and conceptual form. Engaging the human body with specific relevance of the psychological effects around chronic illness within the internal biosphere, through the diffusion of boundaries leading to intuitive visceral forms with distinctive tactility. Her practice enmeshes multimedia with emphasis of creating illusionary space through paint, textiles, collages, natural and man-made objects. Creating a dialogue in which to examine these complexities through the abject abstraction of corporeal forms that are timeless and universal.
