Aldi Difinubun is a video performance/installation artist living and making on Eora Country of the Gadigal people. Often absurd, their work presents the body confined to enduring tasks sisyphean in nature. In portraying the body as trapped or stuck, the artist questions individual agency in response to power. The artist utilises body and object through video to create metaphors that form a separate space in which meaning is made.
